CHE Holds Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Wednesday, September 5, 2018
“It’s all so cool!”
That was the sentiment of Chestnut Hill Elementary students, parents and staff as they returned to a completely renovated elementary school building for the very first time today (September 5).
After three years of classes at an alternate site, the Liverpool Central School District and CHE communities celebrated the end of the renovation process with a special ribbon cutting ceremony. Students and guests also had the chance to roam the building before the first day of school.
The renovation work at CHE was part of the Phase Two Capital Project approved by voters in March 2014. It included improvements to classrooms, cafeteria, library, nurse’s office and gymnasium. It also included the replacement of the roof, flooring, ceilings and lockers.
